Fit4Adults
Fit4Adults provides the following specially designed programmes:
Fit4Football can tailor a programme for all levels of amateur footballers and can be delivered on an individual or group basis. Programmes can be delivered at any time of the season and we can provide a “train the trainer” approach which means that we teach your own coaches how to improve the effectiveness of your clubs training sessions.
The sessions are focused on improving the key elements of football fitness, including:
“When I first started in the game fitness was just about how far and fast you could run. However, the game has changed massively in the last 10-20 years and so have fitness levels and the methods used to achieve them. I am 100% confident that I can improve anybody’s game with the right fitness and diet regime. I also appreciate the time and lifestyle constraints on the amateur footballer. Fit4Football is about the quality of the workout, not the quantity. In fact rest and recuperation are just as important as the physical workout.
I have been managed and coached by some of the best including Brian Clough, Glenn Roeder, Chris Waddle, Roy McFarland, Frank Clarke and Stuart Pearce. I have also trained and played with a whole range of players from the Premiership megastars to the bread and butter lower league players. One thing is consistent; from Roy Keane down, the better prepared you are – the better you will play. It’s not rocket science and what I have tried to do with Fit4Football is keep it simple and effective.
Through Fit4Football I will share the knowledge and skills that I have gained from the professional game. Whether you are playing Sunday League or Premiership, the desire to do well (and ultimately to win) is exactly the same. Often the only thing preventing non-league footballers from achieving their potential is fitness. I have devised the sessions to appeal to all levels of football ability and fitness levels so don’t worry about what level you are at. Gradually we will get you to the next level of fitness and the next, in fact as far as you want to go.
Don’t worry – it’s not all about running and sweating. It’s about knowing your body and doing the right type of things on a regular basis, that’s what gets results. Having said that you will need to be committed and determined to get the very best results. I have devised the sessions to have several elements and I hope they will also be fun to attend. As well as the exercise we will look at other aspects of the game: diet, pre-match preparation, tactics and injury prevention. We will also show you some skill improvement techniques that will make you into Ronaldo over night!
If you are serious about getting fitter, improving your football and improving your lifestyle I would welcome you to one of our sessions. I will guarantee to make a positive difference to your game.”
